Fitzroy North Terrace

This project comprised restoring and modernising a tired Victorian terrace. Paint was removed from the existing facade, and the tuckpointing repaired. New cast iron lacework was installed.

The existing footprint was retained and slightly modified to provide a more efficient floorplan. The bathroom/laundry was centralised and a new living room was added to the rear, opening to a secluded courtyard with timber decking.

Materials: Polished, and insulated concrete slab, corrugated steel cladding and roofing.

Other Features: Heat pump hot water, Solar PV panels, Extensive insulation, Rainwater tank, double glazing.
